Lincoln Road Global Management Named to Inc.’s 2022 List of Founder-Friendly Investors

MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Lincoln Road Global Management, LLC (“Lincoln Road”), a private equity firm focused on lower middle market companies, today announced that the firm was named to Inc.’s Fourth Annual Founder-Friendly Investors list, which honors the private equity and venture capital firms with the best track records of success backing entrepreneurs.

Lincoln Road joins Inc.’s list of firms that have been recognized by entrepreneurs and founders for their collaborative approach to helping businesses scale effectively, receive capital and fulfill their strategic growth objectives. The selected firms have successful track records of remaining actively involved with the businesses they invest in.

“We’re excited to share that Lincoln Road has been named to Inc.’s Founder-Friendly Investors list, which reflects our culture of working collaboratively with founders, family owners and management teams who are seeking to maximize the untapped potential of their businesses and pursue their next chapter of growth,” said Jeff Magny, Founder and Managing Partner of Lincoln Road. “We’re proud that our hard work has been acknowledged by Inc., one of America’s most well-known business publications. It is a testament to our ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, achieve positive results for our investors and serve as one of the most valued partners to entrepreneurs and business owners today.”

“Fully investing in an entrepreneur, and their innovative vision, involves far more than the financial investment. By developing relationships with and supporting entrepreneurs for the long-term, these private equity firms are more than investors, they’re partners,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. media.

Lincoln Road continues its active investment pace, completing thirteen deals in the last 21 months, including its partnership with Trivest to invest in Brothers Paving & Concrete and the sale of Republic Fire Protection in July 2021.

To compile the list, Inc. went straight to the source: entrepreneurs who have sold to private equity and venture capital firms. Founders filled out a questionnaire about their experiences partnering with private equity and venture capital firms and shared data on how their portfolio companies have grown during these partnerships. Introduced in 2019, the Founder-Friendly Private Equity Firms list quickly established itself as one of Inc.’s most resourceful franchises. It has become a go-to guide for entrepreneurs who want to grow their companies while retaining an ownership stake.
