Lincoln Road Global Management Named to Inc.’s 2024 List of Founder-Friendly Investors

MIAMI–Lincoln Road Global Management, LLC (“Lincoln Road”), a private equity firm focused on lower middle market companies, today announced that the firm was named to Inc.’s sixth annual Founder-Friendly Investors list. The list honors the private equity firms, venture capital firms, and lenders with a track record of backing founder-led companies. This is Lincoln Road’s third consecutive year of making the list.

The prestigious list celebrates the investors that believe in backing founder-led businesses and helping them thrive. All companies on the list have successful track records of collaboration and remaining actively involved with the businesses they invest in.

“We’re excited to share that Lincoln Road has once again been named to Inc.’s Founder-Friendly Investors list, which reflects our culture of working collaboratively with founders, family owners, and management teams who are seeking to maximize the untapped potential of their businesses and pursue their next chapter of growth,” said Jeff Magny, Founder and Managing Partner of Lincoln Road. “We’re proud that our hard work has been acknowledged by Inc., one of America’s most well-known business publications. It is a testament to our ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, achieve positive results for our investors, and serve as one of the most valued partners to entrepreneurs and business owners today.”

“It has been a complicated few years for growth companies and the companies that fund them,” said Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc. “So we are happy to share with our readers the best, latest guidance on which venture capital firms, private equity firms, and growth-capital lenders have the track record and reputation of being especially good partners to founders and CEOs.”

Lincoln Road continues its active investment pace, completing 25 investments in the last six years, including its investment into Silversand Services in October 2023 and the realization of its investment into Brothers Paving & Concrete in February 2023.

To compile the list, Inc. went straight to the source: entrepreneurs who have sold to private equity and venture capital firms. Founders filled out a questionnaire about their experiences partnering with private equity, venture capital, and debt firms and shared data on how their portfolio companies have grown during these partnerships. Introduced in 2019, the Founder-Friendly Private Equity Firms list quickly established itself as one of Inc.’s most resourceful franchises. It has become a go-to guide for entrepreneurs who want to grow their companies while retaining an ownership stake.
